Boise State ran their record to 12-0 in a thrilling 44-33 victory over Nevada. The Broncos still have their sights on a BCS bowl game but must finish the regular season with a victory over New Mexico State to further solidify their chances. With Oklahoma State’s loss to Oklahoma, the latest bowl projections show Boise State facing Iowa in the Fiesta Bowl. In the meantime, BSU is the lone WAC school with a logo Snuggie available for purchase. Fans can buy Boise State Snuggie blankets online through DFN Sports site.

Boise State defeated Utah State 52-21 last Friday night on national TV. Boise State remains strong at #6 in the BCS Top 25 rankings. The Broncos host Nevada on the 27th in what should be a thrilling contest and with a win they could very well find themselves in strong contention for a BCS bowl game despite the fact TCU is still ranked ahead of them in the BCS standings.

Boise State dominated from beginning to end as they throttled in-state rival Idaho 63-25. In a game that was being billed as Idaho’s chance to show they were of the same caliber as the Boise State program, the thrashing will surely keep local recruits favoring Boise State. The #6 Broncos travel to Utah State to battle the Aggies in front of a national audience on Friday night November 20th as they play on ESPN2. The most recent bowl projections from Football-Bowl.com have Boise State facing USC in the Emerald bowl, however recent ESPN reports have been leaning more toward both TCU and Boise State playing in BCS Bowl Games this holiday season.

Boise State had a difficult time with Louisiana Tech winning 45-35 on national TV. QB Kellen Moore and the #6 Broncos should have an easier time on the 14th when they host Idaho. While their in-state rivals are 7-3 and 4-2 in the WAC, the Broncos should be heavy favorites over the Vandals. The latest 2009-2010 bowl predictions show Boise State in the local Humanitarian Bowl against Kansas.
