Boise pummels Idaho, keeps eyes on BCS

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

In a game that was being billed as Idaho’s chance to show they were of the same caliber as the Boise State program, the thrashing will surely keep local recruits favoring Boise State. The #6 Broncos travel to Utah State to battle the Aggies in front of a national audience on Friday night November 20th as they play on ESPN2. The most recent bowl projections from Football-Bowl.com have Boise State facing USC in the Emerald bowl, however recent ESPN reports have been leaning more toward both TCU and Boise State playing in BCS Bowl Games this holiday season.

Broncos remain unbeaten heading into game with in-state rivals

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

Boise State had a difficult time with Louisiana Tech winning 45-35 on national TV. QB Kellen Moore and the #6 Broncos should have an easier time on the 14th when they host Idaho. While their in-state rivals are 7-3 and 4-2 in the WAC, the Broncos should be heavy favorites over the Vandals. The latest 2009-2010 bowl predictions show Boise State in the local Humanitarian Bowl against Kansas.
