Wright’s INT holds OU, BCS Championship tied at the half

Friday, January 9th, 2009

Oklahoma’s offense averaged 55 points per game this season and Florida’s offense averaged 45 points per game. So where the heck did the offense go in the BCS Championship Game? Halftime is here and thanks to some fantastic defense inside the 10 yard line, the Florida Gators and OU Sooners are tied 7-7. Twice Sam Bradford and Oklahoma drove inside the Florida 10 and twice they left without points as Florida had a great goal line stand to stop the Sooners on one drive and picked off a pass with 3 seconds left in the half to preserve the halftime tie.

Halftime will be all about adjustments and the team that makes the best adjustment will be crowned the BCS Champions of college football.
