The Florida Gators debut at #1 in the BCS Top 25 rankings, but Florida had a difficult time with a subpar Arkansas team in the Swamp.  The 6-0 Gators will look to remain undefeated on October 24th as they travel to Mississippi State.  7-0 Alabama comes in at #2 after the Crimson Tide was impressive in their victory over South Carolina.  The Tide will host Tennessee on October 24th before their big test against LSU on November 7th.  The LSU Tigers come in at #9 after a bye week last week.  They come off the break to host Auburn on October 24th.  Steve Spurrier’s South Carolina Gamecocks come in at #24.  The Gamecocks are coming off a tough loss at Alabama and will host Vanderbilt on October 24th. Leading 17-14, Tim Tebow lead the Gators down the field hitting David Nelson with a jump-pass and extend Florida’s lead to 24-14 in tonight’s BCS Championship Game. With 3:07 remaining, the Florida defense which has played a fantastic game so far, will be tested by the #1 offense in the history of college football as Sam Bradford & the Sooners will go to work.

Oklahoma’s offense averaged 55 points per game this season and Florida’s offense averaged 45 points per game. So where the heck did the offense go in the BCS Championship Game? Halftime is here and thanks to some fantastic defense inside the 10 yard line, the Florida Gators and OU Sooners are tied 7-7. Twice Sam Bradford and Oklahoma drove inside the Florida 10 and twice they left without points as Florida had a great goal line stand to stop the Sooners on one drive and picked off a pass with 3 seconds left in the half to preserve the halftime tie.
