The Oregon Ducks squared off against the Oregon State Beavers in what was a de facto Pac 10 title game. The Ducks got the victory 37-33 behind the running of LaMichael James and LeGarrette Blount. James, only a freshmen, ran for 166 yards and three scores. Blount made his 1st appearance since being suspend following a season opening loss to Boise State and was very effective running for 51 yards and a score. The victory sends Oregon to the Rose Bowl to face Big Ten Champion Ohio State. The Beavers will face BYU in the Las Vegas Bowl. The Trojans of USC defeated in city rival UCLA 28-7. The victory moved USC up two slots to #18. The Stanford Cardinal jumped back into the rankings after a thrilling victory over Notre Dame. Stanford scored in the final minutes of the game for a 45-38 victory to vault them to #24 in the BCS college football Top 25 rankings. The conference title will be on the line in the Civil War as #16 Oregon State travels to #7 Oregon on Thursday night, December 3rd in front of a national ESPN audience. The winner will face Ohio State in the Rose Bowl on January 1st. USC hosts Arizona and #19 California goes to Washington on Saturday to wrap up the regular season.

The Oregon Ducks lead the conference in the rankings as they moved up two slots to #8 following their OT victory at Arizona. Oregon State moved up to #16 after thrashing Washington State 42-10. The Civil War always means something no matter the records when bitter rivals Oregon and Oregon State do battle. This season it means even more has they do battle in Eugene on December 3rd in front of a national audience. The winner will get a trip to the Rose Bowl to face Ohio State. USC dropped two spots to #20 on his bye week. The Trojans will battle city rival UCLA on the 28th. California moved up to #22 in the college football rankings after a big victory at Stanford. The Oregon Ducks moved up 2 slots to #11 with their domination of Arizona State. Oregon travels to Arizona to face the Wildcats in prime time on November 21st. The Stanford Cardinal entered the rankings at #17 following their annihilation of USC, 55-21. The Cardinal hosts #25 California this week. USC fell from #9 to #18 with their loss to Stanford. The Trojans have a week off before hosting rival UCLA. Oregon State moved 4 slots to #19 following an impressive 48-21 victory over Washington. The Beavers travel to Washington State this week. The Golden Bears of California moved into the rankings at #25 after their 24-16 victory over Arizona. California will have a difficult time staying in the rankings as they travel to Stanford.

The Pac 10 Conference proves the inefficiencies of the BCS rankings as USC is ranked higher than Oregon. Both teams are 7-2 but Oregon destroyed USC only a few weeks ago. USC is now ranked #9 following a 14-9 defensive struggle against Arizona State. The Trojans will have their hands full when they host Stanford on the 14th after the Cardinal defeated Oregon last week causing them to find in the college football rankings. Oregon fell 5 slots to #13 with their loss at Stanford. The Ducks host Arizona State this week. Arizona thumped Washington State 48-7 moving them up to #17. The Wildcats will have a difficult task as they travel to California. The Beavers of Oregon State entered the rankings at #23 following a 31-14 victory at California. The Beavers host Washington this week and are currently projected to play in the Holiday Bowl this winter.

The Oregon Ducks moved up two slots to #8 in the college football Top 25 with their thrashing of USC. The Ducks rolled the Trojans 47-20 to extend their winning streak to 7. Oregon travels to Stanford on November 7th. Surprisingly, the Trojans only dropped to 12th after the debacle. USC will have another tough test when they travel to Arizona State this Saturday night. The Wildcats of Arizona moved up 2 slots to #18 during their bye week. The Wildcats should have an easy time when they host Washington State on November 7th. California moved up 4 positions to #20 with their victory at Arizona State. The Golden Bears host Oregon State on November 7th.

USC moved up two slots to #5 in the BCS college football Top 25 with tough home victory over Oregon State 42-36. The Trojans will have a difficult test when they travel to Eugene to face Oregon on October 31st. The #10 Ducks were extremely impressive in their road victory at Washington. The Ducks held down Washington’s potent offense in the 43-19 victory. The Wildcats of Arizona moved up from #22 to #20 with their 27-13 victory over as Arizona continues to jockey for position in the 2009-2010 bowl predictions. The Cal Bears reappeared in the top 25 falling in at #24. The Golden Bears defeated Washington State 49-17. Cal travels to Arizona State on October 31st.

The Trojans of USC lead the Pac 10 with a #7 ranking in the initial BCS Top 25 rankings as USC won a thrilling game at Notre Dame on Saturday night. The 5-1 Trojans host Oregon State on October 24th. The Oregon Ducks come in at #11 and are projected to play Nebraska in the Holiday Bowl in the latest college bowl projections. The Ducks have won 5 games in a row and will look to continue the streak October 24th at Washington. The Arizona Wildcats behind Head Coach Mike Stoops come in at #22 with a 4-2 record. The Wildcats defeated Stanford in a shootout in their last contest. Arizona will host UCLA on October 24th.

USC proved to all that they are still the team to beat in the Pac-10 Conference with an annihilation of California as the #7 Trojans cruised to a 30-3 victory at Berkeley. The Trojans will take a week off before facing their rival Notre Dame in South Bend on October 17th. The Oregon Ducks continue their ascent up the rankings with the destruction of the Washington State Cougars 52-6. The Ducks will travel to UCLA on October 10th. Stanford and Arizona also received Top 25 poll votes. In the first week of Football-Bowl.com’s 2009 bowl projections, a total of 7 Pac-10 teams are picked to play in postseason bowl games.

The topsy turvy Pac 10 continued the excitement in week 4. USC defeated a weak Washington State team 27-6. With the victory, the Trojans moved from 12th to 7th. California sunk from 6th to 24th with their annihilation at the hands of Oregon. This sets up a major conference tilt as the Golden Bears host USC on Saturday night. The Ducks of Oregon are now flying straight with their big victory over California. Oregon catapulted from 32nd to 16th. UCLA, Arizona State and Stanford all received votes. Washington followed up their major upset over USC with an egg at Stanford. The loss dropped the Huskies from the Top 25 rankings.
