Strikeforce returns on November 7th as they showcase their prize fighter, Fedor Emelianenko, in primetime on CBS. The event is a huge step for Mixed Martial Arts with the sport returning to primetime on a major TV network, but it is also an opportunity for the sport’s #1 pound for pound fighter to showcase his talents in the U.S. as well. DFN Sports will be covering the event with a live blog of round by round results on our MMA partner site ProFighting-fans.com where fans can find the Strikeforce November 7 predictions as well as the Strikeforce Fedor vs Rogers results.

Antonio Silva vs Fabricio Werdum - Heavyweight

The 13-4 Silva is coming off a dominating performance against Jim York at Sengoku - Tenth Battle. Silva, who was suspended for failing a drug test in 2008, is a legitimate contender for the Strikeforce title. Fabricio Werdum, an expert jiu-jitsu practitioner, looked in much better condition in his victory over Mike Kyle on August 15th at Strikeforce: Carano vs Cyborg. This is an intriguing match-up between two fighters looking to make their name in the Strikeforce Heavyweight Division.

Prediction: Werdum via submission 2nd round
