Bowling Green & Ohio head to double-OT

We’re tied at 59-59 as East #1 seed Bowling Green and East #3 seed Ohio are headed to double overtime. You can find comments from regulation and the first overtime in our MAC women’s update earlier.

4:05 - BG takes a 61-59 lead on a bucket by Pontius.

3:38 - Lauren Hmiel hits the layup and heads to the line. And one for Hmiel, Ohio leads 62-61.

2:38 - Tied at 62, BG ball.

1:51 - Ward scores for Ohio, Bobcats lead 64-62, BG ball.

1:28 - Buckner foul for Ohio sends Goldsberry to the line. FT #1 is good, FT #2 is good. Tied at 64, Ohio ball.

1:11 - Kohn misses a layup, then fouls Goldsberry. Both FT’s good, BG 66 - Ohio 64.

37.8 - Buckner scores on a feed from Ward, tied up at 66. BG misses a bunny-shot, Ohio rebound.

Ohio scores with about 15 seconds left and Ohio holds on to defeat the Falcons 68-66 in double overtime. The Bobcats will face Miami at 1 pm tomorrow in the MAC Women’s Basketball Championship Game.
