Despite holding a 33-30 lead at halftime, the Houston Cougars fell behind in the 2nd half and fell to the VCU Rams 73-72 in Puerto Rico on Thursday morning. The Cougars were plagued by foul trouble as one player fouled out and 3 others finished the game with 4 fouls. Houston was led by freshman Brockeith Pane’s 21 points while VCU was led by Jamal Shuler’s 20 points.
