The #2 seeded Memphis Tigers proved to be Elite again in 2007, but just like their 2006 squad, the Elite 8 was the end of the road. The Tigers fell to the #1 Ohio State Buckeyes by a score of 92-76 today, ending the nation’s longest winning streak of 25 games. Shooting and fouls were the difference in this game as OSU out-shot the Tigers at a 51% clip to 40%. Meanwhile, the Tigers were whistled for 29 fouls; 14 more fouls than Ohio State was whistled for.
