Big Ten basketball teams get off to hot start

While the 2006-2007 college basketball season is still very young, the Big Ten is definitely off to a great start this season. After a disappointing 2006 NCAA Tournament saw no Big Ten basketball programs advance past the final 32 teams in the nation, this season looks to be a much brighter one. The top 4 teams in the Big Ten thus far, Michigan, Ohio State, Purdue and Wisconsin, are a combined 35-4 on the season with one loss each. Nine of the 11 teams in the Big Ten have 3 losses or less and just one team, Minnesota, has a losing record thus far.
