Bowden, Florida State seem headed for the Gator Bowl against WVU
Thursday, December 3rd, 2009With Bobby Bowden having announced his retirement this week, the FSU administration and the ACC are looking to let him go out on his own terms. The ACC and Florida State are currently working with the Gator Bowl to ensure that Bobby Bowden’s final game as head coach is not only in the state of Florida, but also against his former team, the West Virginia Mountaineers, who he coached from 1970-1975.
The Gator Bowl is set to be played on January 1st, 2010 with a 1 pm kickoff on CBS according to the college football bowl schedule.
